CHICAGO-
I decided it was time to finally get caught up and update my blog. It has been a CRAZY BUSY month. Let's see....it went something like this. Jack born May 12th, which came complete with my desire to spend all my time with him. Funny thing, life just keeps going. We went straight into end of school complete with the many honors Madison was awarded, Nick's Seminary and High School Graduations, Dance recital, Cam and Nick driving to Chicago to prepare for their summer there, girls camp, speak in church Sunday after camp, Camp Recap Award Night (thanks to great counselors and a FABULOUS camp director the movie/slideshow was completed and darling awards were handed out to the girls.) Finally we ended this crazy month with a family vacation to Chicago.
All of us took Cecia and Jack to Cameron and spent 5 days with them exploring the area. What a great trip. I don't think I want pizza or hot dogs again for a few weeks. We had some incredible food and I found a new love, Garrett carmel crisp popcorn (It was a must EVERY DAY we went to the city). It was especially nice to see where they are living, where Cam is working and to find out more about the company. The company has taken great care of them and have them set up in style. We are so proud of Cameron. He is a hard worker and he "just gets it" It's hard to have them away, but seeing how great this opportunity is for them makes it much easier.
Dino named Sue! (Yes, NickI am
making you stand in front of a Dino

Skit Night, Hanging around the addies, Madison and Carrie sporting sunglasses

Seminary Graduation -
HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION-
The fine looking graduate getting ready to go out into the world.....oh no, I mean Rain!
We could hardly believe it was so cold...no freezing. At least we had umbrellas. This is the best picture we could get of the graduation. He is somewhere out there.

how did june come so fast and fly by so fast? I can't believe how much Jack has changed - still tiny - but filling out so beautifully! I bet you are in heaven when you are with him. He is adorable.!
Your camp looked like a lot of fun! Very creative. I am proud to say that our camp actually had a theme this year so, ya know, that was good and a great improvement over the past. It was a good week but I don't think I love/like it NEARLY as much as you! And you have cabins. Bummer for me. Did you bring any Lamondi traditions into play? Camp has changed a lot since those days - for me anyway. I am a self-proclaimed camp sissy!
Good to see the pictures! I love the baby pics especially!
Love ya.
Oh my you have been a busy woman!! Your grandbaby is soooooo cute! Girls camp looked so fun! I went last year and it was so fun! Although I felt like I was too young to be a leader...like I was just in their shoes even though I was 25?? I'm so glad we can keep in touch!!!!
What a month! And you doing the things you like most: being a grandma and going to camp! When I looked at the Chicago pics, I couldn't help but remember dropping you off in downtown Manhattan to take the train to Long Island. I've never seen anyone so afraid, but you bucked up and acted like a real New Yorker. And now, you're gallivanting through all the big cities like you're a pro. Look how far you've come! ;)
What a fun family trip to Chicago! Looks like you guys had a fun time. Baby Jack is so dang cute! Love all your cute girls camp pictures.
